Mission & Purpose

DrivingIndia.com was created as a strategic capacity-building platform for the Government of Maharashtra Transport Department.

Developed by iCare Life, our mission is to institutionalise driver competency as a core pillar of public safety, converting informal transport workers into certified, citizen-centric road ambassadors.

A Decade of Groundwork & Pedigree

  1. 2012–2014

    Pioneered the first comprehensive curriculum on driver etiquette, passenger behaviour, and female passenger security.

  2. 2015–2017

    Partnered with the Mumbai Traffic Police (MTP) under "Safe Drives Save Lives" and "Safe Drive to School," certifying over 50,000 school bus and commercial drivers across dedicated training centres.

  3. 2018–2023

    Secured Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC / NSDC) national accreditations; trained corporate fleets including Siemens and Orix; pioneered women-driver mobilisation programmes with Uber, Swayam (RPG Foundation), and Apollo Tyres Foundation.

  4. 2024–Present

    Deployed state-of-the-art multilingual digital learning engines, driving simulators, and theoretical LMS testing for the Ministry of Transport, Government of Maharashtra.
