Prove Your Professional Driver Competency
A structured examination for professional drivers — timed, domain-balanced, and designed to validate real road-safety and operational competence.
What it validates
Competency across professional driving domains
Driving India certification is organised around six closed competency domains. The current V1 examination covers defensive driving and road safety, vehicle care and efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Regulatory compliance & traffic regulations Included in V1 exam
- Vehicle care, maintenance & efficiency Included in V1 exam
- Defensive driving & road safety Included in V1 exam
- Professional conduct & emergency preparedness In taxonomy · inventory expanding
- Passenger etiquette & driving courtesy In taxonomy · inventory expanding
- Automotive technologies & safety systems In taxonomy · inventory expanding
How it works
A clear path from preparation to verification
Certification is separate from course assessments. You may take the exam with an authenticated learner profile — course completion is not required for V1 eligibility.
Prepare
Review professional driving practice through Driving India courses, or proceed directly if you are ready to demonstrate competency.
Practice with mocks
Use up to three timed mock examinations to become familiar with the format. Mocks never issue a credential.
Confirm and take the final
When ready, confirm the single final attempt. The paper is frozen for 60 minutes once the exam starts.
Verify your credential
A passing final issues a verifiable Driving India credential you can share via a public verification link.

Integrity expectations
One final attempt. No answer keys. Server-timed.
The examination freezes a fixed paper when you start. Results show pass or fail with your score — not correct answers or explanations. The timer is enforced by the server.
- Mock examinations never issue credentials.
- The final attempt is consumed when the exam paper is created after confirmation — not merely by viewing the confirmation page.
- Reloading resumes the same in-progress paper; it does not create a new one.
- A failed final does not automatically grant another attempt.
